Her name means "rainbow" in Zulu 🌈 Teengo is puppet-fed to reduce her interactions with humans and prevent her from imprinting on her care specialists. A great ending for a rescued wild turkey vulture who "couch surfed" at the Detroit Zoo . . . Detroit Zoological Society staff recently rescued a fledgling turkey vulture who became trapped in a stairwell on a neighboring golf course in Huntington Woods. The bird was not yet strong enough to return to its nest.
